"Pretty handy, just not always quick"
I’ve used TaskRabbit a few times for little jobs around the house, and umm, overall it’s been a good experience. The main thing is that finding someone available can be a bit hit or miss. Sometimes I can book someone for the next day, but other times the people with good ratings are already booked or only free at weird times. Still, when I do manage to get someone, they usually show up and get the job done. I’d use it again, just probably not for anything super urgent.

"Easy first experience with Taskrabbit"
I tried taskrabbit.com for the first time for a small furniture job in my flat, which had been sitting half-finished for longer than I want to admit. The tasker was really reliable, he messaged me before heading over, arrived right on time, and just got on with it without making a big deal out of anything. I was a little nervous because I’d never used the site before and wasn’t totally sure what to expect, but it all went smoothly. I’d definitely use it again next time I need a hand with something around the flat.

I had to reach out to Taskrabbit support because I had a question about a billing charge. They did end up fixing it, and the person who responded was nice, so I can’t really complain too much. It just took longer than I thought it would to hear back, which made it feel more annoying than it probably was. Overall it was a decent experience, but faster replies would definitely make it better.

"Quick and Skilled Service"
He did a really good job and clearly knew what he was doing. My husband and I were impressed with how quickly he got everything done. He did arrive a little later than we expected, but overall it was a solid experience.

"Great for a quick furniture assembly job"
I used Taskrabbit to have a bookshelf assembled, it was a easy experience. The tasker showed up on time, was friendly, and got it done faster than I expected. I also liked that the price was clear before I booked, so there weren’t any surprises. I don’t know if I’d use it for every single home project, especially bigger ones where I’d want to compare options more carefully, but for small jobs around the house, I’d definitely use it again.

I reached out in the morning and my tasker got back to me really quickly. Before coming over, they kept me updated on timing, so I wasn’t left wondering what was going on. Once they arrived, they were easy to talk to and we were on the same page about the job right away. Overall, it made the whole thing feel simple and stress free.

The work was really clean, and everything went smoothly. Reading between the lines, you can usually tell quickly if someone takes pride in what they’re doing, and that definitely came through here. No issues at all...

"Easy enough"
Used taskrabbit to get a shelf put up. The service fee was clear before I booked, and there weren’t any weird surprises after. Not the cheapest, but it saved me time and was easy to set up. I’d use it again

Paying my fine was a easy process overall and everything went through without any issues. The only thing I’d say is that the fees were a bit unclear, so it would be nice if those were explained better upfront.

"I’m usually suspicious about letting a stranger..."
I’m usually suspicious about letting a stranger into my house because you never really know what’s going on behind the scenes, right? So seeing that background checks were part of the process made me feel a lot better. Maybe I’m a little paranoid, but I’d rather have that extra layer of reassurance before booking someone.

I used the taskrabbit app to find someone for a small furniture job, it was painless. The whole thing had a clear, no-nonsense feel to it, which I appreciated. "Pretty good from my limited experience"
I’ve only used Taskrabbit twice, so I can’t say I have a ton of experience with it, but both times I felt safe. I liked being able to check the tasker’s info and reviews before booking since that made me feel more comfortable. One of the guys showed up late, but he messaged me about it, so it wasn’t a huge deal. Support also took a little longer than I expected to get back to me when I had a question. Overall, I’d say it was a good experience, just not perfect.
